Thanks to their compact, ergonomic design and long battery life of up to 60 minutes, Clarius hand-held ultrasound scanners fit in every lab coat pocket and are therefore always ready to hand and ready for use. The scanners are quickly and easily connected to an iOS or Android-enabled device via the Clarius app.

The Clarius app: high-end applications with intuitive user guidance

Behind the app developed by Clarius is a smart technology that makes using the ultrasound scanner as simple and intuitive as filming with a standard smartphone camera. The device can be connected to the app quickly and easily within 10 seconds. Various recording settings (presets) are available within the app, which can be selected according to the structures to be examined. The pocket scanner also recognises the structures fully automatically during the examination using the AI-based Auto Select setting.

With the help of the app, all imaging modes, such as colour Doppler or M-mode, as well as AI-supported functions, including helpful presets, are available during the examination. You can switch between the different modes and select different zoom levels by tapping, pressing and swiping. Additional functions such as measuring structures, area calculations and 3D calculations can be carried out during and after the ultrasound examination. The various examination modes can also be set individually as required using the buttons on the device so that control via a mobile device, for example in the operating theatre, is not necessary. 

Clarius Membership: Use the full scope of the software

As part of the paid Clarius Membership, all software functions are activated in the Clarius app and you have unlimited access to the Clarius Cloud (GDPR-compliant with location in Frankfurt). The DICOM functionality is also part of the Clarius Membership, as are exciting features such as telemedicine, e-learning and access to special presets and the TDI and PW Doppler.

Die Clarius-App ermöglicht dank der implementierten Ultraschall-Telemedizin das zeitgleiche Teilen der Aufnahmen – noch während der Untersuchung. Einfach auf das Clarius-Live-Symbol klicken und einen Sicherheitslink zur Live-Session via E-Mail-Adresse oder Telefonnummer verschicken. Der Empfänger benötigt lediglich einen Webbrowser, um am Livestream teilnehmen zu können.
