The S20 was awarded 2011 with the reddot design award. SonoScape S20 was elected due to ist ergonomic assembly of the Panel and Monitors and the robust and solid appearance while having an outstanding design at the same time: "The S20 is an ultrasound diagnostic system for applications in radiology, cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology. It features advanced technologies, such as multi-beam processing and micro-scans, which guarantee reliable diagnoses. All images are displayed on a 17’’ high-resolution monitor with a large imaging area that is mounted on a pivoting arm for optimal positioning. This relaxes the user’s eyes, arms and shoulders when working with the device on a daily basis. Another well-thought-out feature is the 10.4’’ touch panel which, thanks to its convenient size, allows for easy handling.
